The Los Santos Fire Department (LSFD) is a full-spectrum life safety agency protecting more than four million people who live, work and play in America's second largest city. 

 

The men and women of your Los Santos Fire Department are proud to serve you. Every day, the LSFD responds to more than 79 emergency responses. Department Rescue Ambulances (RAs) transport more than 30 people to area hospitals each day. The firefighters in all 3 fire stations within the City respond to traffic accidents, strokes, heart attacks, and without question - fire. We are dedicated to your safety. And every day we come to work, we consider it a privilege to protect and serve you.

2017 Sampling of Statistics for the Los Angeles Fire Department

  • The Los Santos Fire Department continued to see a rise in emergency responses, both pertaining to Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

  • The total number of incidents or individual calls for service in 2013, was 132,955; an increase of 12% from 2013.

  •  109,394 of those calls were for EMS incidents.

  • Of those EMS incidents, 7,564  were for critical Advanced Life Support (ALS) patients. 

  • The Los Santos Fire Department transported 158,943 patients to area hospitals. 

  • The Department responded to 23.561 fire and non-EMS incidents. 

  • Tragically, 12 civilians lost their lives in structure fires last year, one of the lowest structure fire fatality rates of any large city.
